Developed style, art directed, and designed this series of books uncovering history's greatest mysteries. This series digs into puzzles from the past, cold cases, freaky phenomena, and legends and lore from all over the world. The style development and design were a challenge given the nature of the content and imagery available for what's featured, so we had to allow a lot of flexibility in the design to accommodate limited imagery and or longer text explanations needed. The feel of the design was going for a detective vibe piecing together the clues visually, so lots of old paper textures, newspaper-style typography and fonts, polaroid-style photo treatments, and a spot color to help guide the reader through.
